Music Scholarship Auditions
ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ is pleased to offer Music Scholarships to talented musicians (instrumental and vocal) for participation in a designated musical ensemble and private lessons during enrollment. Amounts vary by instrument and ensemble at the discretion of Music department faculty and are awarded for a maximum of eight semesters. Find out more about these music scholarships.
Music Scholarships are available to incoming first-year and transfer students and are generally determined by live audition with Music department faculty. Out-of-state students who are unable to travel to audition may be allowed to audition remotely on a case-by-case basis. For out-of-state remote audition requests, please contact music@northwestu.edu.

For students entering in Fall 2025:
Priority Audition Dates:
- Monday, February 24, 2025
- Friday, March 21, 2025
Applications are due one week before the requested audition day. The Music department will contact you to coordinate a time for your audition. Auditions typically take place between 9:00am and 5:00pm.
Students who apply by Friday, March 14 at 5:00pm PST and audition by Friday, March 21 will be given priority in the review process and have potential for maximum scholarship funding.
Students who apply and audition after either of the priority deadlines will be considered based on remaining scholarship funding availability.
