Admissions Ambassadors are NU students. They are community focused—live in the residence halls, in student leadership, and actively engaged in fun whether that’s Screaming Eagles Week or NU’s Orchestra. They are Christ-committed to attend worship nights, lead life groups, and actively disciple each other in spiritual formation. They are career empowered with learning opportunities in their major, tutors for classes, and building career-ready skills. They represent the authentic Northwest experience.

Josh Booth

Major: Youth, Children, and Family Ministries
Interests: Singing, hanging out with friends, movies, church ministry.
ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ Me: I am double majoring in Youth, Children, and Family Ministries, and Biblical Studies with a minor in Communications. The Church and my faith are very important to me. Experiencing fellowship and building meaningful relationships are some of my deepest values. I love helping people—whether that’s by talking, serving, or listening. When I am not at church, I love to hang out with friends and family. This includes traveling and going on adventures, watching movies, and binge-watching TV shows. I also love food, (although I am quite picky) and going on late night food runs with friends!

Major: Interpersonal Communications
Interests: Hiking, reading, cooking, spending time with people, being in nature.
ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ Me: I am a senior communications major with a minor in Youth, Children and Family Ministries. My passion is walking alongside youth and kids in their journey with the Lord. I also love people and getting to know them. So, being at NU has been a great fit for me and has allowed me to meet so many amazing people. This is my second year working as an intern in Admissions. I am excited to continue to grow while meeting and connecting with more of you! In my free time I love being out in nature exploring God’s beautiful creation. I also spend a lot of time with my roommates, and we have a lot of fun doing the most random things together.
Hannah Lleras
Hometown: Tacoma, WA
Major: Worship Ministry
Interests: Spending time with my mom and siblings, getting coffee with friends, walking around Costco or Target, swimming, baking for holidays, and I love the color purple.
ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ Me: I am a Worship Ministry Major. Picking a major was not an easy decision for me. I started out as a Nursing major because I knew I wanted to help people. Then I changed my major to Psychology after I discovered that I loved learning about how the mind works and understanding human patterns. I thought I had my life figured out at that point, but at the end of last year, the Lord showed me that I was choosing Psychology out of fear that He would provide. This radically changed my life and made me recognize that what the Lord was calling me to do—lead worship—has really been a part of my life for as long as I can remember! In choosing Northwest, I have discovered something new about who God is every day because of my friends, campus pastors, and the beauty of this community. I am also a proud recipient of the Act Six Scholarship, and I love meeting new people! I have truly appreciated the different ways I have been able to get involved on campus.

ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ Me: I am a senior Psychology major and hope to one day serve as a high school counselor in an underrepresented community. I love traveling, trying new foods, and going on fun adventures. I also enjoy spending time with people I love—whether that is a movie night in or a sunset drive with friends while blasting my favorite songs. My current favorite snack is granny smith apples with lime and tajin!

I really enjoy spending time with people, getting to know them better, and helping lead them to Christ! If I were to live in any cinematic universe, it would definitely be Pirates of the Caribbean.

I’ve always had a love for the performing arts as well. I hope to use the skills I gain here at Northwest not only to teach others about music but to teach and live in a Christ-like way so I can inspire others to get closer to Him.
