ARP Act
In March 2020, the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), was signed into law. Guidance was issued by the Department of Education in May 2021. On May 24, ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ received $1,896,677 for emergency financial aid grants for students. On May 25, ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ received $1,711,667 for institutional use.
ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ has adopted an application form for releasing the emergency financial aid grants for students. These applications will be used to determine awards to students based on exceptional need. It is anticipated that student awards will be made prior to August 20, 2021.
The institutional funds can be used to recover lost revenue, costs associated with supporting the institution to continue operating during the pandemic and other related costs. It is anticipated that an initial draw against the institutional funds will be made prior to August 20, 2021.
